Skills Required
-	Hands-on experience in using one or more Altair HyperWorks products, such as HyperMesh, HyperView, HyperGraph, OptiStruct, RADIOSS, HyperCrash, SimLab, HyperStudy, etc. 
-	Hands-on experience in FE and/or CFD modeling, solving and analysis fields.
-	Quick learner and enjoy working in an innovative and challenging environment.
-	Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
-	Fluent Chinese and English language skills.

-	Work experience in software development and QA (or equivalent role) is a big plus
-	Hands-on experience in process automation and management using scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, Perl, Shell, etc. 
-	3+ years of experience in leading and/or managing a team of 2 – 5 persons is a big plus.

Skills Desired
-	Experience in FEM products/suites such as ANSA, ANSYS, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, PATRAN, LS-DYNA, PRIMER, Pam-Crash, MADYMO, etc. is a big plus
-	Experience in CFD products/suites such as Fluent, Star-CD, Star-CCM+, etc. is a big plus

We open a position of Senior Software QA and Application Engineer to join our Modeling and Visualization (ModViz) team in Shanghai.
We are looking for talents with critical thinking capabilities, and with a strong interest in experimenting and proving her or his ideas. 
Your role will be responsible for the quality assurance of HyperWorks ModViz applications, Altair’s flagship products including HyperMesh, HyperView, HyperGraph, etc. 
You will be working closely with the program managers, developers, technical writers, other QA engineers as well as the local team mates to solve challenging CAE problems in modeling and visualization. 
You will report to the Software Integrity (QA) manager. 

Duties and Responsibilities
-	Understand, verify and validate use cases of HyperWorks ModViz products, mainly the Pre-Processing and Post-Processing.
-	Understand, verify and validate new feature specifications of HyperWorks ModViz products in each release. 
-	Design, perform and evaluate major use cases of the products.
-	Design, perform and evaluate accuracy, precision of the products. 
-	Design, perform and evaluate performance and capacity of the products. 
-	Defect report, tracking, verification. 
-	Test automation and management. 
-	Test planning, execution and status report in an agile development process. 
-	Work closely with the program manager, development manager and other stake holders to design and evaluate solutions and plan future development plans. 
-	Work with the local, regional and global technical teams to solve real world technical problems when needed.
