Job Requirements
Your Profile 
- Experience testing popular consumer services, mobile apps a plus
- Knowledge of mobile emulators and mobile operating systems (e.g., iOS, Android, Mobile Web)
- Execute tests on physical devices and emulators
- Knowledge of QA test techniques to determine appropriate number of test cases and iterations and to apply risk-based testing concepts
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Robotium, UI Automation, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG)
- A technical-minded gadget lover who knows the most recent Android and iOS features
- Strong understanding of Internet and mobile technologies (e.g., JS, HTML 5, REST APIs, XML/JSON web services)
- Proficient in agile development methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, XP)
- Proficient in Continous Integration process
- Experience with defect / issue tracking systems, Jira is a plus
- Great team player who works well in collaborative situations
- Active Open Source, GitHub or Stack Overflow contributor a plus
- Active eBay user who is familiar with the eBay user experiences a plus
- B.S., M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years professional experience
- Java, Android or iOS programming skills desirable
- Ability to work within cross-functional teams a must
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Fluent in English

Your Tasks and Responsibilities 
- Show your passion for high quality products and be part of the engineering team to develop state-of-the-art mobile apps
- Utilize knowledge of software design and work closely with engineering and product management to continually reassess usability, design, and risk; and update testing strategies appropriately
- Triage and resolve production issues
- Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases
- Design and modify test frameworks as required
- Work in close collaboration with our software engineers to develop test automation tools for iOS, Android, and Mobile Web
- Contribute to functional, integration, certification, and regression testing
- Scope and estimate testing effort, help plan projects and track progress
- Participate in a culture of responsibility and support projects throughout all phases of the development life (e.g., design, code, test, release)
- Get to know the eBay technology landscape and implement best practices from eBay Classifieds Group
